What is it?

SpotCheque is our most sought-after media monitoring service. It provides independent verification of media schedules. We ensure that your TV, radio and print advertisements are placed according to the media schedule specifications that you paid for. You will be notified if your advertisement aired incorrectly, not at all, or in the incorrect timeslot.

We monitor if competitors have placed an advertisement in the same commercial break, if your commercial flighted during the correct programme, and if the correct commercial was flighted.

Broadcast error rates reported are as high as 5 – 15% on TV, and escalate for radio. SpotCheque monitors SABC 1, 2, 3, ETV and MNET. Soon to include major DSTV channels and 16 radio stations.

How we provide it

• Email notification before 12h00 the following day

  • Incorrect time of flighting or date of issue

  • Reach and frequency
• A 2-week library of all commercial flightings is maintained
